Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Network and Security Engineer to join our team in Qatar. The role involves designing and managing secure, high-performance network environments with strong expertise in switching, cloud, and virtualization. Experience in firewalls, endpoint protection, and multi-vendor integration is essential. The candidate should be capable of handling multiple tasks, configurations, and collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure secure and optimized infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Strong hands-on expertise in switching technologies, including Cisco Nexus and cross-vendor network integration.
  • Design and implement robust IT architectures and scalable network environments
  • Configure and troubleshoot advanced routing protocols: MPLS (Layer 2/3), BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, DVMRP, PIM.
  • Manage virtualization, cloud migration, and data center optimization using technologies like VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Azure/AWS.
  • Lead deployments of Software Defined Networking (SDN) and Virtual Data Centers (VDC).
  • Manage network security: ACLs, IPSec/SSL VPNs, AAA, endpoint protection (AV, EDR, SIEM).
  • Collaborate on AI-ready infrastructure and support real-time analytics integration using platforms such as Microsoft Azure AI, Google Cloud AI, and Elastic Stack.
  • Support cloud-based architectures (IaaS/PaaS) and hybrid environments.
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software support and escalations.
  • Maintain technical documentation and performance baselines.
  • Confidently lead customer presentations and design workshops.
  • Handle multiple tasks and configurations across diverse environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 4–9 years of experience in Information Security and IT infrastructure.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Network Security Engineer.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise security concepts and architecture.

Certifications (Preferred)

Having certifications such as CCIE, VCAP-NV, or Fortinet NSE is a strong plus. Other relevant licenses or vendor-specific certifications in networking, security, or cloud technologies will also be considered favorably.
