Key Responsibilities


• Oversee daily road freight operations, ensuring timely, safe, and cost-effective delivery of goods.


• Coordinate fleet schedules, driver assignments, and route planning to optimize delivery performance.


• Monitor transport documentation, cargo handling, and compliance with local and international regulations.


• Supervise loading/unloading activities and ensure adherence to safety protocols and company standards.


• Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams to resolve delivery issues and maintain service quality.


• Track KPIs such as on-time delivery, fuel efficiency, and incident reports; recommend improvements.


• Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of vehicles and transport equipment.


• Support onboarding and training of drivers and logistics staff.


• Collaborate with warehouse, customs, and dispatch teams to streamline operations.


• Prepare daily/weekly reports on fleet performance, delivery status, and operational challenges.

Required Skills & Competencies


•
Minimum 7 years of experience in road freight,
transport logistics, or fleet supervision


• Strong understanding of route planning, cargo documentation, and transport regulations


• Familiarity with GPS tracking systems, TMS platforms, and reporting tools (e.g., Excel)


• Excellent communication and coordination skills across teams and stakeholders


• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment


• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and safety

Qualifications


• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field


• Certifications in transport safety, fleet management, or logistics preferred
