Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Azure Cloud Engineer role based in Doha, Qatar. The Azure Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions on the Azure platform. Daily responsibilities include optimizing cloud-based systems, ensuring security and compliance, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient cloud operations. Additionally, the role involves leveraging expertise in cloud computing to support ongoing IT initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Cloud Computing, including experience with Azure platforms
  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure and Linux systems
  • Experience with Databases, including management and optimization
  • Background in Software Development, with an understanding of application deployment in cloud environments
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator) are a plus
  • Experience in other cloud platforms or DevOps practices is an advantage
