Compliance Coordinator

Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Compliance Department within Group Risk, Safety and Security Division as a Compliance Coordinator to be based in Doha, Qatar. This role is perfect for detail driven professionals who thrive in structured environments and enjoy using data and digital tools to strengthen compliance oversight.

About the Role
As a Compliance Coordinator, you will help maintain the Compliance Monitoring System (CMS) in alignment with QCAA, EASA and IOSA standards. You will support audits, regulatory submissions, compliance documentation, and corrective action follow up while driving improvements in how compliance data is captured, analysed, and reported.

We are specifically seeking candidates with strong analytical and digital competencies, including Power BI dashboarding, advanced Excel, AI enabled productivity (especially Microsoft Copilot), and data driven reporting.

Specific responsibilities for the role include:

•    Support internal audits, inspections and surveillance across CAMO, MRO and MTO functions.

•    Maintain compliance manuals, documentation and regulatory submissions.

•    Track and follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely closure.

•    Develop Power BI dashboards, KPI reports, and data insights for management.

•    Use advanced Excel (PivotTables, Power Query, dynamic formulas) to automate reporting.

•    Apply AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot to streamline analysis, reporting and documentation tasks.

•    Work with technical systems including QAMS, AMOS, AQD, Trax, AMPPS, FlyDocs.

•    Liaise with internal stakeholders and external auditors to support compliance reviews.

About you
The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

•    Engineering Diploma in Aviation, diploma in Aircraft Maintenance or Trade or vocational aircraft maintenance qualification or Degree (B.Eng., BSc) or equivalent in aircraft engineering

•    Practical experience in the technical field within a similar work area

•    Basic ICAO Type License

•    Aircraft Maintenance experience (including apprenticeship)

•    Formal basic training on QMS (Quality Management System), audit skills & investigation\

•    Experience in aviation compliance or technical operations.

•    Strong analytical skills with hands on experience in Power BI, Excel analytics, and data visualization.

•    Practical understanding of how AI and Copilot can be used for data analysis and productivity.

•    Ability to interpret technical procedures and apply regulatory standards.

•    Strong communication skills, high attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

•    Working knowledge of business application, user admin and IT liaison support. The applications are AQD, Trax, AMPPS, FLydocs, AMOS and QAMS

•    In depth knowledge of company procedures like TPM, CAP, MOE, CAME, MTOE

•    In depth knowledge of QCAA & EASA applicable regulations

•    Fundamental knowledge of aircrafts, engines, components & cabin interiors fundamentals
