QA QC Manager

We are currently hiring QA QC Manager for one of our client in Qatar

Project details:

  • Duration - 6 Months (Extendable)
  • Location - Ras Laffan

Requirements:

  • Min 10-15 years expereince in a QA QC position in Oil and Gas sector
  • Any Engineering degree or Bachelors degree in related field.

Duties & responsibillities:

  • Implement the QA/QC Plan and following quality procedures.
  • Safekeeping of all quality manuals, procedures, work instrucƟons, work standards, forms, records and other quality related documents relevant to the project.
  • Planning the works required to implement the quality program in line with company quality manual and ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Responsible for ISO 9001, 14001 & OHSAS 18001 documentaƟon and implementaƟon.
  • AllocaƟng work to the Quality inspectors.
  • Supervision and monitoring of Quality Inspector (their reliability, producƟvity, Ɵme keeping and general discipline) including frequent visits to the operaƟonal areas.
  • AƩend daily and weekly quality meeƟngs to discuss maƩers of importance.
  • PreparaƟon of quality data (inspecƟon, test audit, and correcƟve acƟon records)
  • Maintain accurate and calibrated inspecƟon tools and equipment for consistent measurement of operaƟon of the inspecƟon and tesƟng system.
  • Monitor the calibraƟon status of inspecƟon tools and equipment and coordinate with the concerned for recalibraƟon before expiry.
  • Assist in Drafting Project Quality Assurance Plan (PQAP) for the assigned project.
  • Assist in establishing inspection and test plan (ITP) and ensure it is followed in all business activities.
  • Prepare method statements in consultation with QC Manager, Site Engineers and Construction Manager for MEP activities required for the project.
  • Prepare check lists for installation and commissioning procedures.
  • Control product used in installation through inspection before leaving suppliers premise and after reaching site and through manufacturer's test certificates, maintain files and documents on supplied products.
  • Raise work inspection request (WIR) to be executed on a daily basis.
  • Witness work inspections and follow up the approval with main contractor or consultant.
  • Ensure the maintenance of inspection records and results.
  • Follow up and close all Non – Conformance Reports (NCR) raised internally and externally.
  • Coordinate with construction managers, site engineers on a periodical basis to meet quality objectives.
  • Conduct audits in accordance with the audit schedule
  • Support the assessment of suppliers and subcontractors. Monitor their performance and issue
  • surveillance report or NCR for any deviations.
  • Audit subcontractors as required by the Project Management Team.
  • Liaise with Quality representatives of the main contractor and consultant.
  • Prepare daily/Weekly/Monthly report of onsite QC activities.
  • Assist in the preparation and subsequent handover of required documentation project closeout.
  • Support Project Managers in highlighting project deficiencies and proposing solutions.
