Private Accountant / Family Office Accountant / Personal Wealth Accountant

This is a mid-level role ideal for candidates with a background in accounting or banking, who are comfortable handling personal portfolios, real estate income, and coordinating with banks and service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a weekly MIS report summarizing the CEO and family's personal portfolio, including:
  • Mutual Funds, Equities, Fixed Deposits
  • Cash and Bank Balances
  • Real Estate Investments and Rental Income
  • Track and record rental income and utility payments for properties.
  • Monitor bank accounts and assist with fund transfers upon approval.
  • Maintain organized records of all transactions (digital and physical).
  • Post credit card and online payment transactions into the accounting system.
  • Perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations.
  • File and manage supporting documents for all payments.
  • Handle original property and investment documents with confidentiality.
  • Coordinate with bank relationship managers regarding investments.
  • Schedule and attend portfolio review meetings with banks and the CEO.
  • Liaise with the main accounts department for transaction updates.
  • Communicate with real estate agents for rent collection and property matters.
  • Assist with travel bookings (air tickets, hotels) as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with TDS and GST regulations related to rental income and personal financial transactions.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting, banking, or finance-related roles.
  • Skills Required:
  • Basic understanding of stock markets, mutual funds, and real estate.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and basic accounting software.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Preferred Attributes:
  • Candidates from a North background (male or female) are preferred for cultural alignment.
  • Prior experience in handling personal or family accounts is an added advantage.
  • Should be trustworthy, discreet, and proactive in managing responsibilities.
