Job Overview:
The Social Media Account Manager is responsible for managing client relationships and overseeing the planning, execution, and performance of social media strategies across multiple platforms. This role involves developing creative content plans, coordinating with internal teams (design, video, copywriting), analyzing performance metrics, and ensuring all deliverables align with the client's brand identity and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Management
- Serve as the main point of contact between the agency and assigned clients.
- Understand each client's business goals, tone of voice, and target audience.
- Present campaign strategies, reports, and creative ideas to clients professionally.
- Manage client expectations, feedback, and approval cycles effectively.
Content Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement monthly social media content calendars.
- Ensure brand consistency and quality across all platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
- Collaborate with the creative and production teams to generate engaging and on-trend content.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and social media innovations to inform strategy.
Execution & Optimization
- Oversee posting schedules and ensure timely delivery of content.
- Manage community engagement, including responding to messages and comments.
- Coordinate paid social media campaigns and boost strategies in collaboration with the media team.
- Analyze performance reports to optimize engagement, reach, and conversion rates.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly performance reports with insights and actionable recommendations.
- Track KPIs such as engagement rate, follower growth, reach, impressions, and ROI.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and propose data-driven strategies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience managing social media accounts, preferably in an agency setting.
- Strong understanding of all major social media platforms and their best practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail and brand aesthetics.
- Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Later, Sprout Social, Hootsuite).
- Basic understanding of paid media campaigns and content performance metrics.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Arabic and English (spoken and written).
- Familiarity with content creation, photo/video shoots, and trend spotting.
