We are currently seeking experienced Coating Inspectors to join our ongoing project at MIC. The ideal candidates should hold a valid NACE Level-2 certification and should have strong experience in protective coating inspection to ensure compliance with industrial standards and project specifications.

Required Qualifications

  • AMPP (NACE) Coating Inspector (CIP) Level 1, 2, 3 or BGAS-CSWIP, focusing on standards (ASTM, ISO), surface prep, application and testing (DFT, Holiday detection, Adhesion).
  • Minimum 2 years of Experience as a Coating Inspector in industrial, oil & gas, infrastructure, marine, or similar environments in GCC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed inspections of surface preparation, coating application, curing, and related activities to verify compliance with project specs, standards, and procedures.
  • Monitor and measure coating application quality including dry film thickness (DFT), adhesion, holiday detection, and other relevant testing.
  • Inspect environmental conditions (e.g., humidity, dew point, temperature) to ensure suitable application conditions.
  • Verify coating material data, batch certificates, and ensure proper handling/storage.
  • Prepare and submit accurate inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), daily logs, and other QA/QC documentation.
  • Liaise with contractors, QA/QC teams, and client representatives on inspection results and corrective actions.
  • Maintain detailed inspection records and documentation for project quality assurance.
  • Ensure all inspection activities are carried out in accordance with safety procedures and company policies.
