Premium Solutions Consultancy is seeking experienced SAP Integration Specialists for a prominent client in Qatar. This is a fantastic opportunity for professionals with expertise in SAP integration technologies to join a dynamic team for a short-term contract.

  • Vacancy: 2 Positions

The Sr. PI/PO Developer plays a crucial role in integrating functional requirements between SAP components and external applications within the SAP enterprise system.

As the SAP integration technical expert, they ensure optimal use of platforms like SAP PI/PO, collaborating with SAP Functional Specialists to deliver, maintain, and enhance SAP functionality. Their work involves creating reliable, scalable interfaces for complex enterprise environments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Management:

· Plan, direct, and coordinate activities to ensure project goals are accomplished within defined constraints.

· Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.

Problem Resolution:

· Provide SAP support including analysis, development, testing, tracking, and resolution.

· Research production problems and/or enhancement issues and make appropriate code changes to the system.

· Serve as a key member of the SAP Integration Support team responsible for technical design and deliverables.

· Log issues and maintain status in the issue tracking system for prioritizing work and reporting status.

Continuous Improvement and Efficiency Projects:

· Act as a technical leader, always looking for opportunities to improve technologies and processes.

· Support new project initiatives with technical analysis, development, and recommendations for executing integration solutions.

· Educate and improve the knowledge base of the team.

· Support the integration environment and solutions, including off-hours support of business-critical integration solutions.

· Provide technical expertise for system design, testing, implementation, and support.

· Conduct quality assurance activities such as peer reviews.

Knowledge Transfer/Mentor:

· Develop and conduct SAP training and knowledge transfer to business clients.

· Proactively train other IT resources to further develop their understanding of SAP applications and business processes.

SOX Compliance:

· Ensure that changes/enhancements are completed using appropriate SOX control processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum 7+ years of progressive SAP Integration hands-on experience leading up to Architect level work.
  • Expert on SAP integration technologies such as PI/PO, HCI, APIM, SLT.
  • Web Services API Programming – REST, SOAP, XML, JSON.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Platform - API management for the end-to-end lifecycle from build, mask, publish, and monetize an API.
  • Strong knowledge of Python, JavaScript to build SCP APIM policy flows and templates, and build API specifications with OpenAPI specification model.
  • SAP ABAP programming skills and a strong understanding of SAP ABAP Programming Tools.
  • Experience with IDoc interfaces, RFC, BAPI, and OData.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams, specifically in SAP SD, SAP MM, SAP FICO.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP ABAP Programming Tools.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in SAP ABAP.
  • At least two full lifecycle SAP R/3 implementation experience.
