Job Description
We are seeking a
Resident Engineer – Utilities
to oversee all utility-related works on the GEC Project . The role will ensure compliance with design, specifications, and authority standards while supervising site teams and coordinating with key stakeholders.

  • Supervise construction of utilities (water, sewer, stormwater, power, telecom, gas).
  • Review and approve utility-related designs, method statements, and materials.
  • Coordinate with authorities (Ashghal, KAHRAMAA, Ooredoo, etc.) for permits and approvals.
  • Lead and mentor site inspectors and ensure adherence to WSP quality standards.
  • Provide regular progress and technical reports to the Project Manager and client.

Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • 15+ years' experience, including 7+ years in an RE role on large infrastructure/utilities projects.
  • Strong knowledge of local authority approval processes.
  • Previous GEC/Ashghal project experience is highly desirable.
  • MMUP Registered
