Role Description

This is a part-time volunteer role for a Computer Support Specialist at Qatar Voluntary Center located on-site in Doha, Qatar. The Computer Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical assistance and troubleshooting support for desktop computers, hardware, and software. Daily tasks include diagnosing and repairing computer hardware issues, ensuring systems functionality, and assisting users with technical problems to maintain productivity. The position also entails maintaining computer equipment and collaborating with the team to improve IT systems and processes.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Technical Support, Troubleshooting, and diagnosing technical issues.
  • Knowledge of Desktop Computers and Computer Hardware maintenance and configuration.
  • Experience in Computer Repair and maintenance, including handling basic hardware defects.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Prior experience in IT or technical support roles is a plus.
