Job Description

We are hiring for highly skilled Commis Chef 2 to join our high-end restaurant at Alfardan Hospitality.

  • Responsible in producing quality product in a timely and efficient manner for the guests or staff.
  • Prepare all menu items by strictly following recipes and yield guide.
  • Monitor periodically expiry dates and proper storage of food items in the section
  • Personally responsible for hygiene, safety and correct use of equipment and utensils. Sanitation at the assigned work area
  • Assess quality control and adhere to operation service standards
  • Adhere to the restaurant's policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of all standard procedures and policies per training to food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation.
  • Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation standards.
  • Follows good preservation standards for the proper handling of all food products at the right temperature.
  • Carry out any other duties as required by management.
  • Operate and maintain all department equipment and reporting of malfunctioning.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective inter-departmental working relationships.
  • Responsible for the operation of his designated section.
  • Assisting the Chef de Partie & Reporting to any assigned task.

Skills
