Job Purpose:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Demi Chef De Partie to join our team. As a Demi Chef De Partie, you will be responsible for assisting the Chef De Partie in ensuring the highest standards of culinary excellence are maintained in our kitchen.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes to the highest fine dining standards in your designated section.
  • Work closely with the Chef de Partie to ensure the smooth running of your section during service periods.
  • Ensure consistency and quality of food production, adhering to recipe specifications and presentation standards.
  • Manage and rotate stock in your section to ensure optimal freshness and quality at all times.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in your section, following all health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to help develop new seasonal dishes and creative menu offerings.
  • Be proactive in maintaining equipment and kitchen tools in good working condition.
  • Assist with training and mentoring junior team members, helping to foster a positive and high-performing team environment.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a fine dining or luxury hotel kitchen, ideally in a Demi Chef de Partie role or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of fine dining techniques, food presentation, and flavor pairing.
  • Excellent knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • A passion for culinary excellence and a desire to grow within the luxury hospitality sector.
