MISSION AS WORKS MANAGER

Reporting to the Framework Manager (Deputy GM), you will oversee the planning, execution, and management of projects and networks related to power systems (PS) and infrastructure networks. Your role includes coordinating various aspects of project management, ensuring compliance with standards, and leading a team to achieve project goals effectively and efficiently.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AT SAUR QATAR

Oversee the planning and execution of power systems and network projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.

Manage and coordinate project teams, including engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Develop and implement project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.

Ensure all projects comply with safety, regulatory, and industry standards.

Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may arise.

Collaborate with the Framework Manager (Deputy GM) to set project objectives and align them with organizational goals.

Prepare and present project reports, including progress updates, financial performance, and risk assessments.

Manage project resources, including procurement, staffing, and equipment.

Facilitate effective communication and coordination between project teams and other departments. Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes.

YOUR PROFIL

Qualifications:

BSc, BEng, or BA in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum 20 years of overall experience in project management or a related field.

At least 10 years of experience managing power systems and network projects, with a proven track record in leadership roles.

Job-Specific Skills:

Strong project management and leadership skills, extensive knowledge of power systems and network infrastructure, excellent problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in project management software and tools.

Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Remuneration Package:

This is a local contract with a comprehensive package including:

12-month base salary

Housing allowance and company car

Annual performance-based bonus (up to 20%)
