We are looking for a skilled and motivated MEP Engineer Techno Commercial to join our team in Qatar. You will be responsible for tendering, estimation, cost control, vendor management, and contract administration. Responsibilities

  • Review tender documents, BOQs, drawings, and specifications for MEP works
  • Prepare cost estimates, value engineering proposals, and techno-commercial submissions
  • Work with design, procurement, and planning teams to prepare competitive bids
  • Lead pre-bid clarifications, technical queries, and post-tender negotiations
  • Monitor project budgets, cash flow, variations, and final accounts
  • Evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers for compliance and cost-effectiveness
  • Prepare and manage contracts, LOIs, and purchase orders
  • Handle claims, variations, extensions of time (EOT), and contractual correspondence
  • Support project execution teams with technical clarifications and approvals
  • Ensure compliance with Qatar regulations and standards
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, and clients
  • Track project progress against cost and contractual milestones

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (mandatory)
  • 10+ years of experience in MEP contracting, with strong exposure to Qatar projects
  • Proven experience in techno-commercial roles (tendering, estimation, contract management)
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Electrical, ELV)
  • Hands-on experience with FIDIC-based contracts and Qatar construction standards
  • Excellent skills in BOQs, estimation, cost analysis, and value engineering
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, estimation tools, and ERP systems
  • Clear communication and documentation skills
