Job Summary

The Junior Restaurant Administrator is responsible for supporting the daily administrative and back-office operations of the restaurant. This role handles data entry, payroll support, basic accounting coordination, staff records, and general administrative tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative & Data Management

  • Perform accurate data entry for daily sales, expenses, and operational records
  • Maintain organized records for invoices, receipts, staff files, and contracts
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly administrative reports as required
  • Coordinate with suppliers and maintain purchase and delivery documentation

Payroll & HR Support

  • Assist in preparing monthly payroll (attendance, overtime, leaves)
  • Maintain staff attendance, duty rosters, and leave records
  • Support onboarding documentation for new employees
  • Coordinate with HR or accounts for salary processing and employee queries

Operations Support

  • Support restaurant manager with daily operational tasks
  • Monitor office supplies and place purchase requests when needed
  • Assist in coordinating staff schedules and shift records
  • Handle basic communication with vendors, service providers, and head office

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in administration, preferably in restaurant, hospitality, or retail
  • Basic understanding of payroll processes and attendance management
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and basic computer applications
  • Experience with POS systems or accounting software is an advantage

Working Conditions

  • Office and restaurant back-office environment
  • May require flexibility during peak business periods

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR2, QAR2,500.00 per month
