  • Engineering Degree from recognized university in Civil Eng./Architecture. Masters degree will be an advantage.
  • PMP/UPDA Approval/Membership of Professional Organizations (Any one is desirable).
  • 10 to 12 years of experience in design, construction, building maintenance and site infrastructure development works.
  • Experience in similar role within a team of professionals.
  • Sound Engineering and Technical Knowledge.

  • To effectively coordinate, supervise and manage all assigned construction and maintenance projects at the various sites and facilities of the organization.
  • Discuss with end-users and stakeholders, review requirements, and prepare concept designs and plans, preliminary designs and project briefs, budget estimates and other documents for review and acceptance by management.
  • Prepare detailed RFP and Tender Documents consisting of scope of works, specifications, and bills of quantities, etc., and participate in the procurement and tendering process for all assigned projects and works.
  • Prepare Evaluation reports for the offers and quotations received from the various service providers and prepare necessary documentation for award of contracts and/or purchase orders for fulfillment of services
  • Arrange and attend kick-off and regular progress review meetings and site inspection visits to check and control the work quality and program of works. Prepare and issue minutes of meetings and site visit reports for follow-up, etc.
  • Visit sites regularly and ensure compliance with agreed programs, work scope and specifications and take necessary proactive remedial action as required.
  • Check and approve invoices and requests for payments from contractors / suppliers / service providers. Prepare site work instruction and variation orders for any additional works, etc.
  • Perform final inspection processes to ensure final take-over by the end user with desired satisfaction and prepare and submit all required supporting paperwork.
  • Assist and participate in an effective planned preventive maintenance program for all facilities which includes electro-mechanical installations, buildings and all other physical assets & equipment at all Qatar sites.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all HSE Plans and Procedures across all projects and activity locations.
  • Perform ad-hoc and other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager
  • Submit regular progress and inspection reports on all activities performed.
