Job Summary:

Qatar Resins is seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our finance team at the factory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily financial operations, maintaining accurate accounting records, and supporting manufacturing-related financial processes such as cost accounting, inventory control, and compliance with local tax laws.

Key Responsibilities:

Record financial transactions in accordance with company policy and GAAP.

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger balances.

Oversee accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and customer transactions.

Assist with payroll processing, employee benefits, and related tax filings.

Monitor and manage inventory costing and fixed asset depreciation.

Support cost accounting functions and analysis related to resin production.

Assist in preparing for internal and external audits.

Ensure financial records comply with legal and regulatory standards.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP), especially in a manufacturing context.

Experience with accounting systems (ERP systems, QuickBooks, or industry-specific platforms).

Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Access, and other MS Office tools.

High accuracy and attention to detail in data management.

Ability to work independently and under deadlines.

Knowledge of local financial and tax regulations.

Education and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).

CMA, CPA, or equivalent professional certification (preferred).

3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
