Deloitte UK is seeking experienced ex -regulators to join a high -profileproject based in Qatar, supporting the local regulatory authority in theirfintech licensing and assessment initiatives. About the Role This 4 -month contract offers a unique chance to apply your regulatoryexpertise in reviewing and assessing license applications in innovative fintechsectors such as:Stored Value FacilitiesRetail Payment ServicesOpen FinancePayment TokensYou will be responsible for screening applicant documents, conductinginterviews, and maintaining clear written and verbal communication throughoutthe application review process. Your role will also involve presenting findingsto internal stakeholders and coordinating with specialized departments withinthe regulator.KeyResponsibilitiesReview and assess licensing applications focused on emerging fintech areasConduct detailed screening of applicant documentation and interviewsEngage effectively with applicants and internal teamsCollaborate with specialized teams covering AML/CFT, Conduct & Consumer Protection, Fit & Proper Assessment, Business Model & Financial Projections, and IT workflowsPresent findings and recommendations to regulatory stakeholdersWho We Are LookingForEx -regulators with proven experience in licensing application reviewsYou must be Arab speakingStrong knowledge of fintech regulatory frameworks and innovative payment servicesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work collaboratively across multiple specialized review areasAvailable to work onsite in Qatar for the duration of the contract (remote work options subject to data residency compliance)
