Information about the job:

  • Job Title: Coating Package Manager.

  • Location: Qatar.
  • Contract Duration: 12 months (renewable).

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

  • Hands-on experience with pipeline coating methods.
  • Solid understanding of quality control, inspection processes, and health & safety standards.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and coordination abilities.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors or overseeing construction packages is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English.

Tasks:

  • Manage and coordinate coating operations with external vendors, ensuring compliance with project specs and safety rules.
  • Track production schedules, identify potential bottlenecks, and take proactive steps to avoid delays.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between vendors and internal project teams (engineering, planning, quality, logistics, HSE).
  • Maintain daily production reports, flagging deviations and risks to timelines.
  • Arrange inspections, audits, and testing with quality teams and clients.
  • Ensure all coating work is documented accurately, including reporting issues and corrective actions.
  • Assist in solving technical or operational challenges alongside project engineering and vendor teams.
