Assistant / EHSS OfficerWe are looking for an experienced EHSS Officer to join our team, supporting both the main office and project sites. This position will report directly to the EHSS Manager.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, or AdministrationMinimum 5 years of experience in site project managementAdditional certifications such as NEBOSH International General Certificate preferredSkills & TrainingStrong leadership and management abilitiesSolid knowledge of EHSS management, training, and industrial/site practicesSafety awareness with exposure to First Aid, Emergency Response, and Occupational MedicineUnderstanding of environmental aspects and risk managementExcellent English communication skills with effective time managementKey ResponsibilitiesMonitor and analyze EHSS statistics, reports, and trendsDevelop and implement EHSS programs, training, and awareness initiativesAdvise management on EHSS risks, compliance, and improvement measuresLead daily site EHSS activities, ensuring proper PPE use and adherence to standardsSupervise EHSS Officers and Junior Officers to ensure efficient workforce utilizationLiaise with clients and contractors on EHSS-related mattersFoster a strong culture of safety, occupational health, and environmental responsibilityAttributesStrong sense of responsibility and commitment to safetyCollaborative approach with internal and external stakeholdersProactive problem-solving and decision-making skillsDedication to continuous improvement in EHSS practicesAdditional RequirementsExperience in motors and plant operations; SABIC experience preferredExperience in scaffolding and plant operationsStrong electrical background (for relevant assignments)Experience in oil & gas projects; SABIC or Indian oil & gas project experience preferredIf you have the expertise and passion to drive EHSS excellence, we would be glad to connect with you.
