A private family in Doha seeks a UK & European-trained Private Physician for continuous, in-residence medical care.
The appointment favours a physician who coordinates calmly with other specialists, and reliability is prized above all.
The role extends to accompanying the family across Europe and abroad so medical care stays unbroken.
Medical Staff Talent checks the paperwork so the family does not have to; employment sits with the family alone.
Requirements
Family medicine doctor (GP) on a current register, holding current UK or European registration.
3+ years in your field is the minimum, preferably gained outside a large institution.
Our candidates are trained and registered in the UK or Europe, and our checks begin there.
Fluent English is essential, and you will sign a confidentiality agreement.
The family meets only candidates whose records we have already confirmed, and two professional references are taken by telephone.
Benefits
Salary: £218,000 a year gross.
The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances.
Accommodation within the family's residence is provided by the family, and flights for your move are covered too.
You receive generous paid leave from the family, and the family also pays for trips home.
Terms are settled openly: you and the family agree the pay date and the notice period.
Medical insurance is covered; professional indemnity insurance is not included.
Flights and travel are always paid for by the family.
Engagement essentials
Availability to begin within six weeks of offer.
Live-in and single-status: the role suits clinicians who relocate alone, with full flexibility to travel worldwide with the family at short notice.
Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers.
