Our client, a player withinthe capital market space seeks to hire a Chief Operations Officer.The COO reports to the chief executive officer (CEO) and is usuallysecond-in-command within thecompany.

Responsibilities:
- Managingand overseeing the daily business operations of theCompany
- Keeping the CEO apprised ofsignificant events;
- Collaboratingwith the CEO and consulting with them on importantdecisions;
- Creating businessinitiatives, operation strategies, and policies often related tominimizing expenses;
- Communicatingbusiness strategy and policy to employees and delegatingprojects;
- Executing the companysbusiness plans;
- Fostering employeealignment with the business model and corporategoals.
- Developing and implementingpolicies for daily operations and communicating these policychanges to departmentsupervisors.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimumacademic qualification of a Bachelors or masters degree in businessmanagement, administration, ormanagement
- Leadership experienceboth within a companys industry and working in the corporate worldin general
- Prior experience in theCOO role or in similar roles
- Anunderstanding of finance, marketing, and IT infrastructure;competency and skills in strategic planning, business development,organization, leadership, fundraising, public speaking,interpersonal communication, andproblem-solving.
- Organizational,administrative, and leadership skills.
- Goal-oriented and results-driven.
- Decision-making and delegation.
- Reporting to the CEO on dailyoperations.
