JobSummary andPurpose

Participate in handling and coordinating activities related torecruitment planning candidates sourcing selection and engagementin close coordination with hiring managers to ensure that Nakilatsand Joint Venture Companies staffing requirements are satisfied ina timely manner with competent workforce and in accordance withestablished recruitment guidelines policies andprocedures.

KeyAccountabilities:

Recruitment:
1. Coordinate with the functions heads the planning of their annualrecruiting requirements and synthesize all requirements into anoverall recruitment plan.
2. Coordinate theimplementation of the annual recruitment plan and reportprogress.
3. Assist in planning regular recruitment tripsto source highcaliber Qatari National candidates through universityfairs or similar whilst promoting a positive image of NAKILAT andJoint Venture Companies.
4. Participate in developingadvertising programs related to recruitment plans and positionsrequirements and identify and coordinate withadvertising/recruiting agencies to publish jobadvertisements.
5. Assistant in identifying theappropriate recruitment channels to be utilized to fulfil therecruitment plan requirements and work on building and maintaininggood relationships with the external souring channels (ifany).
6. Perform searches for qualified candidatesaccording to the relevant job criteria using databases networkingInternet recruiting resources and internal databases as and whenrequired.
7. Screen CVs and applications and generate ashortlist for functional/divisional/departmental review.
8. Verify credentials (e.g. university degrees) and conductreference checking once approved and waived by thecandidate.
9. Participate in conducting initialinterviews with applicants (face to face or over the phone) andschedule for interviews with other members of the HR Departmentand/or functional Managers if necessary and provide feedback forthe candidates as required.
10. Arrange and organize forthe placement tests and interviews activities for the shortlistedcandidates.
11. Maintain a data bank of vacant positionsand work on sourcing in line with Nakilat and Joint VentureCompanies manpower plans as shared by the relevantstakeholders.
12. Establish a filing system with alldocuments in relation to recruitment and constantly updatethem.
13. Assist in drafting offer letters for selectedcandidates consistent with predefined templates and coordinate withthe Rewards and Organizational Development Section to ensure thatthe stated terms on the employment offer are in line with Nakilatand Joint Venture Companies applicable policies andguidelines.
14. Coordinate with the concerned functionsregarding any needed logistical support during the interview andengagement process including travel entry visa and residencepermits.
15. Participate in the various oncampus andrelated venues for the identification and recruitment of Qatarinationals into NAKILAT and Joint Venture Companies consistent withthe Companys National Development/Qatarizationprogram.

18.Participate in monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of therecruitment process with regard to success rate in search andselection and recommend modifications to policies and procedures asnecessary.
19. Ensure full compliance with establishedguidelines policies and procedures related to sourcing selectionand engagement of candidates foremployment.

Qualifications Experience and JobSkillsQualifications:
  • Bachelorsdegree in Business Administration Human Resources or any otherrelated filed.
  • Certification in competencybased recruitment and selection is a plus.
Experience:
  • 35years of related experience in a similar position /responsibility.
  • Previous experience in Oil& Gas and regional experience ispreferred.
Job SpecificSkills:
  • Knowledge aboutsocial media recruitment strategies.
  • Knowledgeof executive sourcing &interviewing
  • Knowledge of HRERP systemspreferably SAP
