Events production coordinator

We are hiring a production coordinator thancan oversee the fabrication and buildup of projects and play apivotal role in orchestrating the various elements involved inproducing custom displays booths and installations for events andexhibitions.
KeyResponsibilities:
- Project Scheduling: Develop andmaintain production schedules coordinating activities with designfabrication and installation teams to ensure timely completion ofprojects.
- ResourceCoordination: Manage procurement of materials equipmentand subcontractors required for manufacturing and assembly.Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery andquality standards are met.
- BudgetManagement: Assist in budget planning and trackingexpenditures throughout the production process. Identify costsavingopportunities without compromising quality or clientexpectations.
- ClientCommunication: Serve as a primary point of contact forclients providing regular updates on project progress addressinginquiries and managing expectations. Ensure clear and effectivecommunication between clients and internal teams.
- Logistical Planning: Coordinatelogistics for transportation storage and installation of finishedproducts at event venues. Arrange for permits site surveys andother necessary documentation as required.
- Documentation and Compliance: Maintainaccurate records of project specifications contracts andcorrespondence. Ensure compliance with health and safetyregulations building codes and industry standards.
- Problem Resolution: Anticipate andmitigate potential issues that may arise during production findingpractical solutions to keep projects on schedule and within budget.Address any quality control concerns promptly.
- OnSite Support: Provide onsite supportduring installation and dismantling of exhibits at event venuesensuring smooth execution and resolving any logistical challengesthat mayarise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in industrial design manufacturingengineering or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in event production exhibition designor manufacturing coordination.
- Strongorganizational and project management skills with the ability toprioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellentinterpersonal and communication skills with a customerfocusedapproach.
- Proficiency in project managementsoftware and Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledgeof manufacturing processes materials and fabricationtechniques.
- Flexibility to work irregularhours including evenings and weekends to accommodate eventschedules.
AdditionalRequirements:
- Familiaritywith CAD software and other design tools isadvantageous.
- Ability to interpret technicaldrawings and blueprints.
- Creativeproblemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectivelyacross departments.
- Adherence to companypolicies and procedures with a commitment to quality and customersatisfaction.
