We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Officer to join our marketing agency in Doha.

The Sales Officer will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets.


Responsibilities:

  • Set the sales targets with General Manager.
  • Ability to prepare annual, semiannual, and quarterly sales plans.
  • Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, guidance, researching and recommending new opportunities, recommending profit and service improvements.
  • Determining competitors in the market and preparing reports on their activities and identifying weaknesses and strengths of their products.
  • Follow up the market, know the new competing products, and prepare the necessary reports on it.
  • Compliance with the company's rules and regulations.
  • Participate in company meetings concerned with the company's plan, product pricing and recommendation for development.

  • Commitment to the confidentiality of the company's data, customers, and products.
  • Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.
  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
  • Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
  • Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual analyses.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Prepare and present sales contracts.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Representative at least 3 years.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs.
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
