We have an exciting role for a Head of Sales and Marketing to work for our client in Doha, they are a NGO and have some very exciting projects they are working on.


They have a mission to seed, practice, and promote ethical entrepreneurship and well-being through urbanism and architecture, agriculture and gastronomy, têxtile work, creative and intellectual endeavors, following the ethical principles of sustainability, equality and fairness, always supporting traditional approaches and craftsmanship.

The Head of Sales & Marketing plays an instrumental role in conveying the mission of the organisation and the activities of its various ventures.

You will design, develop, guide and execute marketing strategies for the organisation and its ventures.


The Head of Sales & Marketing will formulate the yearly marketing plan and its strategy according to the organization or business unit which accurately reflects the organisations message and tone.

The Head of Sales Marketing will work across all departments assisting each with their marketing efforts and ensuring that all efforts are integrated.


Sales and Marketing Strategy:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Identify target markets, customer segments, and key product/service offerings to drive revenue growth.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends and opportunities.

Team, Leadership and Management:

  • Work closely with Business Units to coordinate communication for all events and projects involving external audiences.
  • Design, implement and evaluate all marketing needs in partnership with respective internal departments.
  • Lead and manage the sales and marketing teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Set clear goals and targets for the teams and ensure effective execution of sales and marketing plans.
  • Foster a collaborative and resultsoriented work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and continuous improvement.

Sales Management:

  • Develop and implement sales plans and strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Set sales targets for individual team members and monitor their performance against these targets.
  • Provide sales training, coaching, and support to the sales team to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
  • Monitor sales activities, analyze sales data, and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

Marketing Management:

  • Develop and implement marketing plans to enhance brand visibility and drive customer engagement.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, advertising, and promotional activities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling marketing materials, content, and messaging.
  • Monitor marketing performance, analyze data, and adjust strategies to optimize marketing outcomes.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Identify customer needs, preferences, and market trends to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Develop strategies to acquire new customers, expand market share, and maximize customer lifetime value.
  • Oversee customer service initiatives to ensure excellent customer experiences throughout the sales process.

Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Conduct market analysis and gather competitive intelligence to identify market opportunities and potential threats.
  • Use market insights to guide product development, pricing strategies, and sales approaches.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
  • Monitor expenses, track return on investment (ROI), and make budget recommendations.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Develop and maintain sales and marketing performance metrics and reporting systems.
  • Analyze sales and marketing data, generate reports, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Present sales and marketing results, strategies, and initiatives to senior leadership and stakeholders

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is preferred.

Experience

  • Proven experience in sales and marketing management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Minimum 10 years of market and industry knowledge
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales and marketing team.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of sales and marketing principles, strategies, and tactics.
