Knowledge & Qualification:

  • Dip in discipline or standards based qualification

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing all materials aspects for work within the CONTRACTOR's area of responsibility, including the setting up and running of a warehouse, receiving materials from the COMPANY, 'bagging and tagging' by job, safe keeping and preservation of materials, issuing and managing materials returns. Must have more than 5 years' experience in engineering works in the Petrochemical, Petroleum Refining industry.
  • Must have 5 years' experience in warehouse management and petrochemical materials procurement
  • Educational qualifications: standards based qualification.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English (IELTS 6 Equivalent).
  • Must be capable of assisting in QA / QC / HSE compliance audits on site procedures and HSE Plans.
  • Must be able to organize materials and equipment, control in/out of stores materials.
  • Must be capable of setting up a TA stores including all inventory management and understand storage requirements for typical refinery spares parts
  • Must be able to work with computers utilizing Microsoft Windows and Office suite of packages.
  • Must be able to organize up to 10 Storemen
  • Must be able to advice, support and replace the Storemen if necessary.
  • Preferably have a working level experience in SAP-PM and CMMS.
