Position Summary:

Primarily supervises front office team members to ensure efficient and smooth operations for producing excellent feedback and guest satisfaction. Responds in a professional and courteous manner to guests by providing accurate and timely information and services.


You will also ensure hotel/Suite charges are processed diligently to guest's accounts, invoices are accurate, billing instructions are verified, all necessary supporting bills and vouchers are attached for direct settlements.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.

  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls Courteously and accurately answers inquiries from potential guests and accepts hotel reservations.
  • Responds to telephone and inperson inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information and guest concerns.
  • Perform all checkin and checkout tasks.
  • Manage online and phone reservations.
  • Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data.
  • Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
  • Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities.
  • Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully furnished to accommodate guests' needs.

Hotel Front Office Agent (Male Arabic)

LOCALLY AVAILABLE CANDIDATES; IMMEDIATE JOINERS

Responsibilities:

  • To confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests.
  • Maintain updated records of bookings and payments.

Requirements and skills

  • Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or similar role
  • Experience with hotel reservations software, like Cloud beds and RoomKey PMS
  • Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like Booking and TripAdvisor
  • Customer service attitude
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Speaking English & Arabic

PREREQUISITES:

A positive attitude and excellent communication skills. Experience of motivating and leading a winning team. Ability to remain calm whilst under pressure. Knowledge of IDS/ Opera / Fidelio or other Property Management System is required.

Education:


Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management is an asset or Graduates or diploma holders in another field with a positive attitude is also considerable.

Computer Knowledge and experience in MS office programs. Moderate Arabic language is a big plus.

Experience:


Minimum 2 to 3 years work experience as Front Office Associate / Front office cashier in a hotel/suite, where one year must be on supervisory level.
