InterContinental Doha The City is looking for a
Director of Revenue to join our team.


As a
Director of Revenue, you are responsible to maximize revenue through room reservation by setting proactive selling strategies and action plans in order to achieve the budgeted revenue thereby maintaining a healthy business.

Your day-to-day

  • Design and implement a continuous proactive, selling strategy and action plan, which will drive the optimization of hotel profits
  • Have the foresight to capture any unexpected opportunities and implement recovery plans to counteract threats to business
  • Oversee the maximization of revenues through the combined efforts of the Reservations, Sales & MICE Sales Departments.
  • Assist Director of Sales & Marketing in the preparation of monthend report
  • Prepare necessary data required for revenue budgets and assist the management team in preparing yearly budgets
  • Ensure IHG strategies and structure are met at all times
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • May participate in the Manager on Duty Program

What we need from you

  • Bachelor's degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in marketing or related field
  • Strong understanding/experience of Hotel Operations in a multicultural environment.
  • Selfstarter, with the ability to understand the business and link them to the department agenda.
  • High level of drive for results; adaptable and flexible with the ability to build relationships.
  • Strong planning and organizing skills with great attention to details.
  • Excellent guest relations, problemsolving and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Arabic speaking is an advantage, but not a must.
