Job Purpose:

Responsible for preparing and documenting procurement activities in accordance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Description:

  • Researching and identifying prospective suppliers
  • Liaising with internal project teams and maintaining strong supplier relations
  • Evaluating products and suppliers according to key business criteria
  • Administrating proposals, requesting quotes, and storing documents
  • Preparing and issuing purchase orders and uploading agreements for Legal review and approvals
  • Monitoring supplier performance and resolving issues and concerns
  • Inspecting and evaluating the quality of purchased items and resolving shortcomings
  • Analyzing industry and demand trends and supporting senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies
  • Preparing reports and maintaining accurate inventory and procurement records
  • Coordinating with stores to manage stocks and sets reorder points
  • Follow up with delivery notes, invoices, to complete the purchase order

Technical Skills:

  • Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies
  • Excellent administration, time management and customer service communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and problemsolving skills
  • Team player with strong organizational skills
  • Microsoft office
  • ERP, SAP systems, Odoo

Salary:
QAR4, QAR5,000.00 per month
