JOB PURPOSE:
To develop and enhanceindustrial Service Business Effectiveness
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduateas Management, Administration or Hospitality.
BSc/BA in facilitymanagement, engineering, business administration or relevant fieldDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages and directs the activities ofassigned staff; coordinates, prioritizes and assigns tasks andprojects; tracks and reviews work progress; inspects contract workfor conformity with plans and specifications.
Develops andimplements long and short range goals, objectives, policies,procedures and work standards for the department(s); prepares andadministers the department(s) budget.
Plans and coordinatesdevelopment and maintenance projects performance; providestechnical assistance to staff and discusses job details withsubordinate supervisors and staff. Coordinates schedules andspecial event operations for the purpose of ensuring requiredfacilities preparation. Writes and manages job proposals and bidsfor projects. Develops, writes, and manages contracts for services.Manages and inspects work of contractors and agencies Directs theconduct of and conducts analytical studies; reviews and reportsfindings, alternatives and makes recommendations for work bycontract when appropriate; directs the maintenance of accuraterecords and files.
Responds to questions and complaints from theclient; ensures satisfactory resolution; acts as liaison with otheragencies and organizations involved with daily operations andnecessary business needs.
Contributes to the efficiency andeffectiveness of the unit's service to its customers byoffering suggestions and directing or participating as an activemember of a team.
Reviewing tender documents, scope of works,checking the feasibility for qualification, financial criteria,preparing presentations, risk matrix, Manage the development ofplans for tender process activities to achieve targets.
EXPERIENCE:
Proven experience as facilities manager Well-versed intechnical/engineering operations and facilities management bestpractices Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principlesExcellent verbal and written communication skills Excellentorganizational and leadership skills Good analytical/criticalthinking REQUIRED SKILLS,
KNOWLEDGE:
Interpersonal,relationship-building and networking skills. The ability tomultitask and priorities your workload. Confident decision making.
Time management skills. Project management skills. The ability todraw information from various sources, including people. Clear andconcise writing skills and the ability to handle long and complexdocuments. Teamwork skills and the ability to lead and motivateothers. IT skills.
