Job Summary:
The Director of Learning and Development is responsible for developing strategic learning and development plans for both the external clients and the organization.
This position will be responsible for improving the productivity of the clients' and organization's employee performance through customized learning solutions.
This position assesses company-wide talent developmental needs to help clients and the organization achieve it business goals. This position oversees the training cycle management and performance management.-
Supervisory Responsibilities:_
Directly manages the Training Managers of different disciplines and units.
Organizes and oversees schedules, assignments, and responsibilities of full-time, part-time training staff and training coordinators.
Participates in the hiring and training of departmental managers.
Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.

Duties/Responsibilities:_
- Develops strategic learning and development plans for clients based on their training needs analysis.
- Conducts training and development needs assessment for external clients and the organization
- Oversees, evaluates, and edits existing and proposed programs; recommends changes when appropriate.
- Manages the marketing activities promoting positive image of the brand both internally and externally.
- Analyzes training and development programs and objectives developed by the training team.
- Manages and controls the budget for new training development and client learning solutions.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of training programs through development and training surveys.
- Trains and coaches managers, supervisors and others involved in employee development efforts.
- Develops and maintains organizational communications such as bulletin boards and newsletters to ensure clients & employees have knowledge of training and development events and resources.
- Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
- Works effectively as a team member with other members of Senior Leadership and the HR.
Required Skills/Abilities:_
- Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Superior managerial and diplomacy skills.
- Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
- Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
- Ability to design and implement effective training and development.
Education and Experience:_
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
- Ten years of experience in designing and implementing employee development programs.
- At least five years' experience in a leadership role.
- Professional certifications in HR & L&D preferred.
Salary:
From QAR10,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
