Job Summary

In this position, you will oversee day-to-day activities related to insurance.

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather monthly declarations in line with policy requirements.
  • Perform adjustments to annual policy premiums.
  • Aid in reviewing and drafting internal policies and procedures for Corporate Insurance.
  • Handle Insurance matters daily, coordinate Insurance Claims process, and take a proactive approach to claims.
  • Communicate with external insurance brokers regarding daily concerns.
  • Review insurance clauses in commercial contracts.
  • Execute any additional tasks that align with the demands of this role.
  • Work independently on regular tasks, seek guidance for complex assignments, and meet strict deadlines while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Complete any other duties as assigned by Department Management.

  • Assume responsibility for personal development and expertise growth.
  • Stay updated on market trends and developments.
  • Participate in response to emergencies or major operational disruptions.
  • Train Qatari staff in various duties as needed.

Data Protection

  • Ensure that personal data obtained and processed is handled according to data protection principles and Group policies.
  • Consult the Group's Data Protection Officer (DPO) office for decisions on data processing, storage, and deletion.

Operational Safety

  • Be fully aware of health and safety requirements to minimize risks for self and colleagues.
  • Comply with safety, security, quality, and environmental management policies and procedures.
  • Show personal interest in reported incidents to ensure appropriate reporting and response.

Environmental Competencies

Understand environmental principles and tools as they relate to your role.

About the Job

To excel in this role, a Bachelor's degree in Finance/Business or equivalent is required. Additional qualifications in Insurance/Legal fields are preferred, along with a postgraduate degree. A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is necessary. Strong analytical, negotiation, and interpretation skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint is a must.
