About the Role

Manage terminal operations at HIA, including check-in, boarding, baggage handling, VIP operations, trolley services, porterage services, PRM/special handling, and buggy operation to provide services to customer airlines and stakeholders. Continuously seek productivity improvements and revenue generation opportunities to enhance profitability and stay competitive.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to strategic plans to enhance terminal operational performance.
  • Drive improvements in various operational functions.
  • Deliver strategic projects that benefit the business and stakeholders.
  • Plan and adapt operational implementations based on analysis.
  • Create strategic plans to forecast scenarios and identify risks.
  • Direct and control all aspects of daily operations.
  • Improve processes using business technologies to meet handling requirements.
  • Provide oversight for effective utilization of resources.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external entities for continuous improvements.
  • Ensure effective planning and utilization of resources.
  • Oversee safety and security checks on resources and facilities.
  • Develop a reporting culture and ensure timely investigations.
  • Report irregular operations to senior management promptly.
  • Manage contracts and review SOPs for smooth operations.
  • Create a single point of contact for related agencies.
  • Establish measurable KPls for managers and supervisors.
  • Lead terminal management team and ensure competence.
  • Provide creative solutions to operational challenges.
  • Perform other duties as directed.
QualificationsAbout you

Essential

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years of job-related experience
  • Experience in Airport managerial position
Preferred
  • Experience in Customer Services position/Terminal Operations
  • Experience in Managing Budgets
  • Experience in Managing project implementation
  • Experience in Managing large workforce
