Our client is a well-established technology systems company specializing in cloud services, data centre migration, and IT managed services.

As part of their growth in the region, we are recruiting a Gulf region experienced business development specialist with a demonstrable track record of consistent consultative sales achievement in a system integrator SaaS environment.

Based in Doha, the role will focus on lead generation and new business opportunities to build a robust pipeline of sales and acquire new clients.

The successful candidate will be a hunter with a strong commercial acumen who enjoys exceeding sales targets in private or public cloud solutions, preferably AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud solutions.

Role Summary:

  • Relationship management to develop new sales opportunities and build a sustainable sales pipeline of new business opportunities to consistently exceed sales targets.
  • Work closely with the customer from early in the sales cycle to understand their needs and demonstrate technical thought-leadership to develop a services proposal that is aligned with the technologies that will deliver customer value to meet their business goals.
  • Proactive account management of existing clients to cross-sell and increase current spend.
  • Prepare technology pitch presentations, RFPs, tenders, and bid submissions.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to convert customer enquiries into new business wins.
  • Collaborate with the pre-sales team to conduct demonstrations and proof of concept to clients.

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

  • 8 – 10 years' demonstrable success in GCC B2B SaaS and integrated technology new sales and business development influencing and selling to C-Level executives in government and enterprise organizations.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen to develop profitable value-based services and technically and commercially sound RFI & RFP responses.
  • Demonstrable capabilities in designing solutions that are accurately scoped to meet the customer's business objectives.
  • Proven capabilities in strategic consultative sales and account management; engaging with C-level and senior executive decision makers providing perspective and guidance on business and technology strategy, transformation, investments, and innovation.
  • Articulate in proposal writing and conducting product demonstrations and whiteboard sessions, with an excellent command of the English language.
  • GCC / Qatar driving license is mandatory.

Candidate Profile:

  • Currently living in the Gulf region – must be able to live and work in Doha.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Agile self-starter who can excel in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working in business development roles where commission is uncapped.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
