We are recruiting for Senior Compliance Officer, to be based in Doha, Qatar.

About The RoleThe Senior Compliance Officer will be responsible for supporting the Manager Flight Operations Business Support in two key areas: establish and manage a compliance framework and related activities for the Integrated Operations Centre (IOC); and take a lead role in the divisional budget process. Core objectives are to ensure that documented processes and procedures are being followed through a program of compliance checks, analyse and present findings to the senior management team, and take a proactive role for the divisional budget process and monthly expenditure reviews.Specific Responsibilities For The Role Include
  • Assist Manager Flight Operations Business Support in the development of an IOC compliance framework and reporting structure to ensure oversight of business and operational processes.
  • Perform audit activities as per agreed compliance review program, ensuring these are properly recorded, and present findings to management team as per prescribed timeframe.
  • Develop, prepare and share compliance reports, detailing analysis and findings for IOC management's review and internal stakeholders to identify areas of operational and business risk.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to identify and report the root causes to management team regarding non-compliance to mitigate risk of repetition in future.
  • Manage and track all audit/compliance related actions ensuring the progress is readily available for management's view/review.
  • Responsible for completion of monthly rostering compliance check for VP IOC organization and reporting of it to ensure adherence with HR policies.
  • Provide support to Manager Flight Operations Business Support in preparation of the divisional annual budget plan.
  • Support departmental monthly operational expenditure reviews as required.
  • Assist line manager with analysis and preparation of department reports for financial, headcount and recruitment information.
  • Provide support to IOC management team during investigation events with particular responsibility for capturing and presenting all relevant data for consideration and review.
  • Perform other departmental tasks, including preparation of ad-hoc analysis and reports, as directed by the Manager Flight Operations Business Support in support of business needs.
  • Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed.

  • High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 5 years of job-related experience
  • OR Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience.
  • Minimum 3-4 yrs. experience in IOC operational environment.
  • Prior Operational Compliance or Audit experience.
  • Annual budget planning experience.
  • Significant data analysis experience.
  • Knowledge of project management or process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience of drafting executive management reports.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent Communication Skills (Verbal & Written English).
