Four Seasons Hotel Doha:

Gazing over the Arabian Gulf, with a private beach and marina curving at its feet, Four Seasons Hotel Doha is a traveler's haven fashioned to the finest international standards. It is the centerpiece of Doha's outstanding waterfront landmark, the West Bay business and residential complex. Four Seasons is home to 237 guest rooms overlooking land and sea, nearly a quarter of which are suites. Responsibilities:

  1. Handle Incoming Calls and in-house calls.
  2. Take written messages for hotel guests; transfer guests to voicemail to leave a message as well as retrieve guests' voice messages.
  3. Lodge guest requests for wake-up calls, set the console and give the wake-up call, deal with unanswered wake-up calls; handle incoming faxes.
  4. Handle guest requests in terms of DND, privately registered guests, and function room telephones.
  5. Be well versed in general hotel information, Four Seasons information and knowledgeable about Speed Dial extensions.
  6. Handle security issues such as fire alarm procedures, calling the house doctor, bomb threats, and guest/staff confidentiality.
  7. Assist with guest complaints.
  8. Govern overnight tasks such as daily reports for all departments and line checks, pulse control report; communicate guest requests to the overnight runner.
  9. Respond to crisis situations; run the operation manually when Opera crashes and apply the contingency plan in case of the switchboard being crashed.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  1. 1-2 years of luxury hotel experience at a similar level.
  2. College education or equivalent experience preferred.
  3. Excellent command of the English language.
  4. Deeply instilled values-based company culture.
