The Service Consultant (Outdoor Sales Executive) is responsible for selling telecom connections (especially home internet) directly to customers in various field locations. The role requires proactive outreach, engaging potential customers through door-to-door sales, corporate visits, and other face-to-face sales channels. The Service Consultant (Outdoor Sales Executive) will report to the Outdoor Sales Team Leader/Manager, focusing on achieving sales targets, providing excellent customer service, and generating new business opportunities in their assigned territories.

Accountability & Responsibilities of Role:

Sales Generation & Business Development:

  • Actively prospect and approach potential customers in the assigned area or territory to sell telecom services, including mobile connections, data plans, and other telecom-related products.
  • Conduct door-to-door sales, visit residential areas, businesses, and corporate offices to promote and sell telecom connections and services.
  • Identify new sales opportunities by building and maintaining relationships with individual customers, local businesses, and organizations.
  • Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets as set by the Outdoor Sales Team Leader/Manager.

Product Knowledge & Sales Presentation:

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's products, services, pricing plans, and promotions to effectively present solutions to potential customers.
  • Explain the benefits of telecom connections and products in a clear and engaging way, helping customers select plans or services based on their needs.
  • Demonstrate features, functionalities, and advantages of telecom products, guiding customers through the purchasing process.

Lead Generation & Networking:

  • Actively generating leads through cold calling, referrals, networking events, and community interactions to expand the customer base.
  • Identify target markets within the assigned area and approach potential leads, ensuring steady sales growth.
  • Share market insights, customer preferences, and competitor activity with the Outdoor Sales Team Leader/Manager.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by offering personalized services and follow-up support.
  • Provide post-sales support by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry into the CRM system, including customer details, sales activities, and follow-up actions.

Reporting & Sales Tracking:

  • Provide regular updates to the Outdoor Sales Team Leader/Manager regarding sales progress, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and report results accurately.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and lead generation efforts.

Competitor and Market Intelligence:

  • Monitor competitor offerings, pricing, and promotional activities to remain competitive in the market.
  • Gather market intelligence, identify customer trends, and communicate this information to the Outdoor Sales Team Leader/Manager for strategic adjustments.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Ensure all sales paperwork, contracts, and documentation are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Stay organized and efficient in handling sales leads, customer communications, and sales tracking.

Position Requirement:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, or a related field is a plus.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in outdoor sales or field sales, preferably in the telecom or consumer services industry.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with customers.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for sales.
  • Good understanding of telecom products, services, and plans.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve collective sales goals.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Additional Information:

  • Work Environment: Field-based, with daily visits to customer locations in assigned areas or territories.
  • Travel: Daily travel within the assigned area or region for customer meetings, lead generation, and sales activities.
  • Driving License: A valid Qatar Driving License is mandatory for this position.

Working Hours: Flexible, with the potential to work evenings or weekends based on customer availability.
