Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and motivate a team of network engineers and technicians, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure high performance and professional development.
  2. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the telecommunications network, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution of network issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  3. Develop and implement incident management processes and procedures to respond promptly and effectively to network outages, service disruptions, and other critical incidents.
  4. Manage changes to the network infrastructure, ensuring that all changes are properly planned, tested, and implemented in accordance with company policies and industry best practices.
  5. Monitor network performance metrics and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to enhance network reliability, capacity, and efficiency.
  6. Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure the timely delivery of network services and support, negotiate service contracts, and oversee vendor performance.
  7. Conduct capacity planning and forecasting to anticipate future network growth and expansion requirements, ensuring that the network infrastructure can support the evolving needs of the business and our customers.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, computer science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  2. 8+ years of experience in network operations and management in the telecommunications industry.
  3. Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of technical professionals.
  4. Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Arabic is desirable.
  5. Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, ITIL, or PMP are a plus.
  6. In-depth knowledge of telecommunications network technologies, protocols, and standards, including IP/MPLS, DWDM, LTE, and 5G.
  7. Strong understanding of network management tools, monitoring systems, and performance analytics platforms.
