Commercial Bank's Intelligence Unit (CBIU) is actively seeking a Data Science Expert to join our diverse cross-functional team. Our mission is to provide the bank with invaluable data insights, analytics, and business intelligence.

We are looking for an individual with a solid understanding of data analytics, management principles, as well as the ability to extract maximum value from available data.

In this role you'll have the opportunity to showcase your technical skills and problem-solving abilities. Delivery focus, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking are also important qualities we are looking for.

We aim to elevate the bank's data science capabilities to new heights, accelerating capability development and reaping the benefits with your contributions.

Key Accountabilities

  • Collaborate with business executives and various departments to implement advanced data science solutions. These solutions encompass a wide range of applications, including intelligent character recognition, computer vision, behavioral analysis, early warning signs analysis, generative artificial intelligence, NLP, LLM, hyper-personalization, and more.
  • Utilize a combination of modern and traditional data mining techniques
  • Design, test, and implement complex analytic models across structured and unstructured data sets.
  • Contribute to the development of Big Data capabilities and coordinate cross-functional analytic initiatives

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on data mining and collection procedures
  • Ensure data quality and integrity
  • Interpret and analyze data problems
  • Conceive, plan and prioritize data projects
  • Build analytic systems, predictive models and artificial intelligence capabilities
  • Test performance of data-driven products
  • Visualize data and create innovative reports and present to key stakeholders including most senior Management of the Bank
  • Experiment with new models and techniques

Key Competencies

  • Solid understanding of machine learning
  • Knowledge of data management, advanced analytics, visualization techniques and predictive modeling
  • Previous experiences with Artificial Intelligence
  • Good knowledge of R, Python, MATLAB and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Excellent communications skills; both oral and written/presentations
  • Advanced Mathematics skills
  • Strong strategic thinking skills and the ability to frame problems
  • Solid understanding of IT system architecture
  • Experience with modern data quality management tools in the context of data quality / governance is a plus

Education

  • Master degree in Business/Finance/Accounts or equivalent
  • MBA, or other Masters level degree
