Job Description:

Thabt is seeking a skilled and experienced CNC 4 & 5 Axis Milling Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. As a CNC Milling Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating our advanced 4 & 5 axis CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components for various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Set up and operate CNC 4 & 5 Axis milling machines to machine complex parts according to detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
  2. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to ensure high-quality parts are produced.
  3. Program CNC machines using CNC software (e.g., G-code, Mastercam, Fusion 360) or adjust programs as needed.
  4. Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure parts meet tight tolerances.
  5. Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimum performance.
  6. Perform quality control checks using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure the accuracy and quality of parts.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions or quality issues.
  8. Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience operating CNC 4 & 5 Axis milling machines in a production environment.
  2. Strong knowledge of CNC programming, especially with 4 & 5 axis machining.
  3. Proficient in using CNC control systems (e.g., Siemens, Fanuc, Mazak).
  4. Experience with CNC programming software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks, Fusion 360).
  5. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  6. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain tight tolerances.
  7. Knowledge of various materials (metals, plastics, etc.) and their machinability.
  8. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machines and processes.
  9. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or degree in machining or related field preferred.
  10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
