Overall Purpose Of TheJob (Brief description of the primary purpose of this position)TheMedical Admin is responsible for providing administrative supportand medical receptionist support to the Project Management. KeyResponsibilities Welcomes patients and visitors into the hospitaland offers assistance with any inquiries they may have; includingchecking them in for their appointment and answering phone callsand emails in a prompt and efficient manner and routes them to theproper department as needed. Efficiently manages electronicscheduling system to arrange patient appointments and follows up toprovide reminders. Coordinates with Triage Nurses for patientscheduling and provider availability. Maintains patient records byverifying accuracy of personal and billing information each visit.Manages office inventory and equipment by performing consistentstock checks, anticipating needed supplies, placing orders forsupplies and scheduling maintenance for equipment service andrepairs as needed. Actively participates in day-to-day officeactivities, including a variety of meetings and groups to improveprocedural processes, obtain approvals, and remain abreast of newdevelopments and policy requirements. Works with Program Managementin daily admin tasks such as report preparation, scheduling andtracking of patients and staffing. Actively participates in MassCasualty exercises and events. Performance of other duties asassigned. Job ProfileRequired Skills and Knowledge (Briefdescription of technical knowledge or skills needed to perform thejob) Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in anadministrative role preferably in a hospital setting. Medicalterminology certification highly preferred. Proficiency inMicrosoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word,Outlook).Experience Preferred Experience on a military site,working as a government subcontractor or prime contractor ispreferred.Education Required High school graduate or equivalent.Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)certificationOther Special Qualifications Ability to obtain USGovernment identification. Must be able to read, write and speakEnglish to effectively communicate. Must be able to pass a DOSbackground check if required Must be able to relocate to Qatar. Avalid passport is required and must be in your possession prior torelocation.
