To assist the Cluster Assistant Reservations Manager inthe operation and requirements of the department. In absence of theCluster Assistant Reservations Manager, to be able to take onresponsibility for the Reservations Department.


EssentialResponsibilities andDuties

  • Understand thekey principles of Accor Pricing Strategies and RevenueManagement
  • To ensure Cluster Reservations andRoyal Services Agents are filling the responsibilities as outlinedin their job descriptions.
  • Monitoring the teamperformance on external calls, dining reservations and roomreservations
  • Supervising the day to day runningof the reservations department ensuring that the work load isfairly distributed and completed in a timely and professionalmanner.
  • Understand the key principles of AccorPricing Strategies and Revenue Management, such as Retail,Corporate, Leisure, Group, Other, Rate Restrictions, hurdles andavailabilities
  • Maximize rooms and diningrevenue through the conversion of telephone calls intosales
  • Utilize effective up sellingtechniques
  • Understand and take reservations tosupport the revenue management strategies employed by the RevenueManagement leader in the both properties
  • Befluent on all hotel products and services
  • Befully conversant with all market segments and rate plans usedacross all distribution channels
  • Be flexible insales technique through offering the right product to the rightguest at the right time
  • Check the quality ofreservations arrivals as per the task listassigned
  • Audit the cluster reservations team toensure the quality of the calls andemails
  • Monitor the hotel inventory and reportany issues to Cluster Revenue and ReservationsManager
  • Ensuring a proper communication inplace and the team are updated with the latestchanges/offers
  • Train, coach and support thecluster reservations and royal services agents to build a strongand highly skilled team
  • Identify Salesopportunities through individuals, Corporate Accounts, Wholesalersand Travel Management companies
  • Responsible foreffective implementation and compliance with Accor ReservationStandards
  • Achieve targeted goals in the HotelMystery Shopping calls
  • Maintain accuracy andcleanliness of the PMS Database
  • Ensure marketsegmentation is accurate for eachreservation
  • Merge profiles asnecessary
