Assistant Project Manager

**Job Brief**:
As an Assistant Project Manager for our mall housekeeping project, you will be responsible for assisting in overseeing and coordinating various aspects of the project. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting in managing and supervising the day-to-day housekeeping operations, including coordinating with housekeeping staff and other stakeholders
- Supporting the Project Manager in developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and timelines specific to housekeeping tasks
- Assisting in monitoring and inspecting the cleanliness and maintenance of the mall to ensure high standards are met
- Coordinating with various teams, including housekeeping team and main office staff to ensure smooth project execution.
- Assisting in preparing and reviewing housekeeping-related documentation.
- Handling project-related communications and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders, including mall management and tenants
- Assisting in identifying and mitigating project risks and implementing corrective actions as necessary
- Supporting the Project Manager in ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, cleanliness standards, and safety protocols
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of housekeeping project reports and records
- Monitoring the consumables, make sure that it doesn't exceed the budget set and submit detailed reports to the project manager concerning the same.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Project Manager
**Job Requirements**:
- It's mandatory for the job holder to be BICs certified
- Proven experience in a project management role within the hospitality industry, preferably with experience in large-scale housekeeping projects
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning techniques, and supply chain management
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to upholding high cleanliness standards
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures relevant to housekeeping operations
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders and housekeeping teams
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule and travel to the project site within the mall as needed
- A degree in hospitality management, project management, or a related field is preferred
