About the role

Develop and evolve the QAS business portfolio by facilitating creation and implementation of business expansion plans and ventures. Contribute to the sustainable development of the organization and support all business units with their requirements and tasks for the successful delivery of new international stations, as well as potential business acquisitions

Operational
- Support the organization with expansion and development related tasks and projects including the monitoring and tracking of key milestones and accountabilities.
- Assist in developing business concepts to identify new opportunities through market survey and through evaluating available station data, through QR Group information.
- Work closely with operational and support units to establish GH Operational concepts for new station in order to get operational efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with commercial and finance units to gather content and inside information for revenue and costing for analysis purposes.
- Maintain regular communication with all stakeholders during all phases of new station implementation and update the management on regular basis on major development of station setup. Ensure business units adhere to development criteria.
- Communicate to business units on potential challenges, soon as noticed, and update on project schedule and milestones at all times in order to achieve successfully delivery of station setup.
- Support post station implementation processes, administration, and oversight until the local team is able to manage the new station independently. This may require prolonged duration of stay at the new station if necessary.
- Support future acquisition ventures through cost modelling and initial acquisition studies in order to provide profit and loss benefit analysis to management.
- Work closely with business Intelligence team to develop and utilise business intelligence models and tools for new station to support strategic objectives.

Management & Leadership
- Establish the department or teams objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives.
- Regularly evaluate the department or teams objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and makes appropriate changes if needed.
- Oversee and supervise employees. Direct daily activities, recruit, train, develop and discipline to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
- Train and develop other employees, to ensure succession planning is in place.
- To be committed and contribute to the National talent development, by coaching the national developees, preparing them for a career with boundless potential. Leading to the program’s continued growth and success.

Qualifications

About you- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent without prior experience, preferred in Aviation or Business Administration- Experience working in an aircraft ground handling environment.- Be available to travel on-site for station visits in order to support the station setup.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to senior management.- Excellent computer skills, including proficiencies in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.- Strong business analytics skills with experience providing studies or consultations regarding operational processes.- Strong knowledge of aircraft ground handling operations.- Experience creating business documentation and stakeholder coordination.- Client focused and business aware.- Self-motivated and highly organised.- Strong interpersonal and team working skills.- High level of sensitivity and professionalism.- Self-starter, having the ability to work independently with mínimal instructions.- Proven ability to work under pressure to defined timescales.- Proven problem-solving abilities.- Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
