Senior Manager Business Development and Expansion

About the Role:
- Manage and Lead consultancy support for expansion of ground handling activities of potential inquires and company valuation and due diligence for potential company acquisition.
- Document all aspects of a business ideas with recommendations and as a result create the needed business cases.
Strategic Aspect of the Role:
- Develops QAS business deployment and expansion strategy is implemented whilst coordinating all business units
- Create business opportunities such as business development and expansion plans, agreements and alliances with other airlines along with other QAS divisions to support QAS strategic expansion plans.
- Responsible to identify the challenges, find challenges, manage operational goals future business growth by developing the QAS global tactical commercial strategy along with QAS Commercial and Contracts division determining the level of investment globally.
Operational Aspect of the Role
- Manage and work closely with internal QAS stakeholder and responsible for the expansions’ projects profit and loss, driving business growth and building and maintaining relationships.
- Oversight of long-term and annual strategic expansion projects and lead the business cases process such as but not limited to working on projects on strategy integration, organic growth related to expansion projects to increase effectiveness, reduce costs and improve profit.
- Preparation of financial models for potential future expansion projections - Provide direction and active participation in high level operational and financial data gathering, analysis and summarizing of operational findings for executive management.
- Assessing investment and ROI using tools in line with Finance guidelines for cost of capital and Initial Rate on Return IRR expectations. Accurately forecasts revenue, profitability, margins, for all expansion projects.
Budgets and Business Plans
- Manages the preparation and consolidation of the function's budgets including new expansion projects and revenue and monitors financial performance versus the budget.
- Establishes revenue opportunities by setting revenue targets.
- To prepare short and long term QAS investment plan in coordination with operational departments.
Management & Leadership
- Regularly evaluate the department or teams objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and makes appropriate changes if needed.
- Oversee and supervise employees. Direct daily activities, recruit, train, develop and discipline to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
- To be committed and contribute to the National talent development, by coaching the national developees.

**Qualifications**:
About You:
- Must have Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 10 years of job-related experience
- Experience in managing a multicultural workforce in a large, complex facility move.
- Preferred - Master Degree in Financial Management / Financial Models with experience in Airline and Ground handling
- Project Management, Financial Management & Financial Studies
- Strong communication skills with the ability to negotiate, discuss and persuade.
- Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
