You will be responsible and accountable for the complete day to day operational control of the company staff accommodation.
- You will be responsible for the implementation of staff accommodation policies and procedures including house rules, sharing guidelines and allocation.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons or unusual occurrences. Site visit reports to Operations Head and follow up with concern authorities to resolve the issues.
- You will be responsible to indent and control cleaning supplies, materials, equipment and ensure that proper housekeeping, pest control of the staff accommodations is completed as per the prescribed scheduled, so as to maintain the sanitation and cleanliness of the premises.
- You should ensure that company staff accommodation is checked regularly for building maintenance requirements, ensuring they are completed within established time period and quality standards so as to minimize the damages and inconvenience of the company and our staff. Ascertain staff is safe and secure in the accommodations at all times.
- You will be responsible to attend the maintenance requests and emergency calls based on the urgency of the situation and coordinate with the respective staff room occupants and to provide access and entry to maintenance technicians and / or contracted workers and oversee the maintenance work approved by Management.
- You will be responsible to conduct investigations with the assistance of Security personnel into any discrepancies relating to hygiene, safety and security.
- You will be responsible to achieve and maintain the balance between the Management and staff accommodation facility by building a harmonious working relationship with the staff and HR Department. You will be the first point of contact for any staff members requesting / grievances and assessing the merits of each request before forwarding to the Operations, HR department.
- You will be responsible to conduct monthly meetings with HR Department to discuss and highlight accommodation concerns, future requirements and on-going developments.
- You will be responsible to conduct "accommodation induction" for all new joiners so they are aware of house rules, accommodation facilities, nearby amenities and transport options.
- You will be responsible to visit staffs that are ill or failed to report for duty, ensuring all staff is provided with required care and welfare and report to concern Managers accordingly.
- Under the guidelines of your Reporting Manager, you will be responsible to implement company policies, and to take necessary disciplinary action as and when required. Create good team work and motivating staff to take good care of the company property as this will be their home away from home.
- You will be responsible to coordinate with HR department and ensure that accommodation standards and procedures are implemented at all times. Prepare Staff accommodations for new hires according to established accommodation standards at least 2 days before actual date of arrival all the time.
- You will be responsible to carry-out all internal and external written communication with the Managers, Supervisors and with Contractors to maintain safe and secure environment for employees.
- To ensure that requirements related to Food Safety (ISO 22000:2018), Quality Management (9001:2015) and HSE (ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018) are implemented and maintained within the department.
- All documents/records related to Food Safety & HSE (where applicable) shall be kept up to date.
- Food safety/HSE Policy and objectives, as applicable to the department, to be followed and updated.
- To carry-out all other duties & responsibilities assigned to by your reporting Managers in accordance with Company’s Policies & Procedures and any applicable state and Qatar Laws.
