Our client is looking for a Beach Manager on a temporary basis for two months only. He is responsible for the planning, organization, staffing of beach personnel and overall operations of the Beach facility. Overall beach operation includes, but is not limited to: scheduling, in service training, swim lessons, maintenance and the marina.
As a senior position, we are looking for confident, friendly Beach Managers with maturity and substantial experience within the active sports environment. You’ll be enthusiastic, approachable and capable of leading your team to deliver our full range of beach and watersports activities to guests of all ages in a professional, safe and fun environment.
You’ll develop and coordinate the watersports programme in all weather conditions

**Requirements**:
Present a professional appearance and attitude at all times
Must be present in Qatar at present and available to work on a temporary basis for two months.
- Maintain an excellent standard of customer service
- Create a safe beach environment for both staff and guests
- Liaise with your Activities Manager to place orders for spares and equipment
- Organise a working rota based on watersports Instructors qualifications and RYA session ratios
- Lead a team to set up, pack up, and proactively provide assistance to all guests using the equipment on the beach each day
- Keep up-to-date with local legislation and ensure the operation is always working in accordance with local laws
- Risk assess all aspects of the beach operation. Monitor this and update on a daily basis where required
- To practically help coordinate the set up of the beach and hotel at the start of the season and the pack down of the resort at the end of the season
- Train, motivate and appraise the beach team to ensure the highest levels of instruction, and coordinate and deliver a training programme assuming responsibility for the development of the instructors
- Develop positive working relationships with all departments
- Help organise and host social events, deliver briefings and generally interact with guests at all times
- Be prepared to move between different resorts according to the operational needs of the business and to fulfil your contractual end date
- Be flexible in your job role and willing to assist in all other duties as requested by your manager according to training you have been given

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required**:

- Dynamic and flexible approach to be able to adapt to the conditions
- Skilled in safety and on water rescue techniques
- Ability to effectively communicate with guests of all ages, management, and other staff
- Ability to lead, motivate, and train a team and maintain effective working relationships
- The ability to confidently hold a conversation in English
