Located in the heart of Doha Old Town, Kimpton Al Rowda Doha will be the first Kimpton in the Middle East bringing the brand’s playful energy, infectious personality, and unique design style to this charming and vibrant area of town. Just a stone’s throw from the many favorite sights of the Qatari capital, the hotel will welcome guests and locals to experience its 283 guest rooms, including suites and serviced apartments, and to enjoy a multitude of unique dining options. As Catering Sales Manager, you will assist in all catering functions and meetings. You will supervise, coordinate, direct and administer all of the phases leading to a smooth and successful operation in accordance with the specifications of each function order. You will also consult with guests and set up functions to their satisfaction, in a manner that will maximize the profitability of the catering department, you will work closely with all food & beverage and catering staff involved in the banquet process, including housemen, bartenders and chefs. You will focus on developing strategies to generate revenue from new business. Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we're looking for: - Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related fields - 3 to 6 years’ experience in relevant field - Food and Beverage management training is preferred - Excellent verbal and written English communication skills - Luxury and lifestyle experience is an advantage - Pre-Opening experience is an advantage We’ll reward all your hard work with competitive salary and benefits.
